Come out to the National Zoo on Thursday, September 1, 2016 from 6:00 - 9:00pm and support the conservation while sipping on wines from local wineries and vineyards.
Enjoy tastings from local food trucks, live music, and exclusive after hours access to the Great Ape House at the Smithsonian Zoo.
General Admission tickets include:
- Wine tastings from renowned wineries and vineyards.
- A commemorative wine glass.
- Concessions will also be available for purchase.
- Animal encounters along Olmsted Walk.
- Opportunity to purchase bottles of wine to take home and enjoy later.
VIP tickets include:
- Private wine and hors d'oeuvre happy hour in the Think Tank before the event from 5 to 6 p.m.
- Exclusive access to the "Crush Pad," a VIP-only area located on the Great Meadow.
- Delicious tastings from area restaurants and a private wine bar.
- Special animal demonstrations.
- "Grapes with the Apes" wine tote.
All guests must be 21 years of age or older in order to enter the event.
